1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pitchr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including those accessing the Service during the private beta period.

2. Description of Service

Pitchr is an AI-powered pitch creation platform designed for freelance filmmakers and videographers. The Service generates creative concepts, shot lists, storyboards, outreach messages, and follow-up sequences based on user-provided information.

3. Private Beta

  • Access is limited and may be revoked at any time
  • Features may change without notice
  • Usage is limited to 3 pitches per calendar month per account
  • The Service is provided free of charge during the beta period
  • Pitchr reserves the right to introduce paid plans at the end of the beta period with reasonable advance notice to users

4. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate information during registration
  • Notifying Pitchr immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to generate content that is misleading, defamatory, or harmful
  • Resell or commercially exploit the Service without written permission from Pitchr
  • Use automated tools or bots to access the Service

6. Intellectual Property

Pitchr's IP

All software, design, branding, methodology, and technology underlying the Service — including but not limited to the Pitchr name, logo, UI design, and AI prompt architecture — are the exclusive intellectual property of Pitchr and its founders. No rights are transferred to users by virtue of using the Service.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you input into the Service, including client briefs, creative concepts, reference descriptions, and gear profiles.

AI-Generated Output

Content generated by the Service (pitch documents, shot lists, storyboards, outreach messages) is provided for your personal and professional use. You may use this content in your freelance work. Pitchr claims no ownership over generated pitch documents.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate pitch content. Pitchr does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using generated content in a professional manner. Pitchr is not liable for any outcome resulting from the use of AI-generated pitches, shot lists, or outreach messages.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pitchr and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

The total liability of Pitchr for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Pitchr in the 3 months preceding the claim. During the free beta period, this amount is zero.

9. Termination

Pitchr reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy below.

10. Changes to Terms

Pitchr may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Qatar. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Pitchr ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

2. Data We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Account information: Name, email address, password (encrypted)
  • Profile information: Experience level, specialisation, gear inventory, target markets
  • Pitch content: Client names and details, creative concepts, reference links, uploaded screenshots

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, pitch creation frequency, session duration
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address
  • Analytics: Aggregated, anonymised data about how the Service is used

Information from third parties

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from those providers in accordance with their privacy policies. We do not receive passwords or payment information from these providers.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Create and manage your account
  • Generate AI-powered pitch content using your gear profile and brief
  • Improve the Service based on usage patterns
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
  • Send product updates and beta announcements (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

4. AI Processing

When you generate a pitch, your input data (client brief, gear profile, references, constraints) is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. This data is processed in accordance with Anthropic's privacy policy and data processing terms. We recommend not including sensitive personal information about third parties in your pitch briefs.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure. Data is stored on servers that meet industry-standard security requirements. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Data Sharing

We share your data only with:

  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
  • Anthropic — AI processing of pitch generation requests
  • Google / Apple — only if you use social sign-in
  • Legal authorities — if required by law or to protect our rights

We do not share your data with advertisers. Pitchr products are ad-free.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Your Rights

  • Access your personal data at any time from your account settings
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Export your pitch data in a readable format
  • Opt out of non-essential communications at any time

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
